Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm

Brief description:
Teach Humanities and PSHCE to secondary students in a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

About the school:
Independent specialist school for pupils aged 5-21 with social, emotional and mental health needs and moderate learning difficulties. The school provides tailored academic and therapeutic support in a nurturing setting.

About the role:
Deliver engaging Humanities and PSHCE lessons across KS3 to KS5. Support personalised learning plans and contribute to a holistic approach that integrates academic and personal development.

We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Plan and deliver creative Humanities and PSHCE lessons
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse needs
- Promote student wellbeing and independence
- Collaborate with teaching and therapeutic staff
- Participate in whole-school activities and enrichment

Requirements -
The ideal candidate would have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
- Experience teaching Humanities and/or PSHCE
- Understanding of SEMH and SEND
- Ability to build positive relationships with learners
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
