Are you an experienced Contracts Manager looking for a meaningful role with a respected social housing contractor in Oxford?
We're working with a forward-thinking main contractor with a strong pipeline of planned maintenance and decarbonisation projects across the region. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of projects that directly impact communities, improve lives, and contribute to a greener future.
The Role:
As Contracts Manager, you'll be responsible for managing multiple contracts across planned works and energy efficiency/decarbonisation upgrades (EWI, solar, heat pumps, etc.) for local authority and housing association clients.
Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day delivery of multiple projects from pre-start to final handover
- Lead site teams and subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and program delivery
- Liaise closely with clients, tenants, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with budgetary, quality, and environmental standards
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and report progress to senior management
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience managing social housing contracts, especially planned maintenance and retrofit/decarbonisation works
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Good knowledge of building regulations and H&S requirements in housing
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black or White Card), First Aid preferred
- Full UK driving licence
