We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and reliable PA for our 11 year old non verbal, autistic, sparky daughter who is just about to start secondary school.
We need someone who can support our daughter after school, either out in the community and/ or at home, also during the school holidays. We have 6 hours to use during the week and 7 hours a week during the school holidays (no weekends).
Our daughter likes to be active and enjoys going out and about to the beach, cafes, swimming, park, scooter rides, on the bus, cinema, and walking. She also loves getting stuck in with baking/ cooking.
She uses an AAC device as well as makaton to communicate (training will be provided), but she is very good at getting her point across.
Duties include:
- Companionship
- Dressing / undressing
- Picking up from school 2/3 days a week.
Candidate qualities:
