We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading chemical distributor for an Internal Account Manager to join their growing Leeds team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven individual with experience selling physical products in a B2B environment — ideally within chemicals or technical ingredients.
The Role:
* Manage and develop existing customer accounts in the household ingredients sector
* Promote a wide portfolio of speciality chemicals and value-added services
* Handle customer quotes, samples, CRM updates, and day-to-day communication
* Work closely with field sales and technical teams to drive growth
* Identify new sales opportunities and convert leads into repeat business
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in internal sales or account management
* Essential: background in selling physical products (not just services or solutions)
* Chemical or technical product experience is a strong advantage
* Proactive, commercially minded, and confident in client engagement
* Strong communicator and well-organised multitasker
* Full UK driving license and access to a car
