Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5:15pm. 37.5 hours per week.

We are looking for a Senior Management Accountant to prepare and ensure the successful and accurate completion of the monthly management accounts and financial reporting, forecasting & budgeting processes for all Supply Chain business areas sitting under the responsibility of the Chief Operating Officer, and provide timely insight to the business on the financial performance in these areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all financial reporting and period-end processes for Supply Chain, ensuring accurate MI, variance analysis, and reconciliations.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and non-financial reports with commentary and KPIs for Supply Chain performance.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning, ensuring alignment with operational and commercial strategies.
  • Deliver insightful ad hoc analysis and challenge Supply Chain performance across the business.
  • Maintain robust financial systems and controls, ensuring accurate balance sheet reporting (e.g. stock, accruals, intercompany).
  • Manage audit processes for Supply Chain, liaising with external auditors and ensuring compliance.
  • Develop and communicate Supply Chain financial performance to stakeholders, supporting continuous improvement and LEAN practices.
  • Line manage and develop two Assistant Management Accountants and support depots in meeting financial targets through proactive engagement.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified accountant with strong financial control experience, including ledger, accruals, prepayments, provisions, stock accounting and intercompany.
  • Skilled in financial planning, modelling, and forecasting across P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into insights and meaningful commentary for non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong focus on risk mitigation, control enhancement, and continuous process improvement.
  • Experienced in team management, coaching, and staff development.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills across all business levels.
  • Highly analytical, detail-focused, and able to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint user with financial systems experience (preferably SAP).
