Nursery Practitioner – Level 3 | Up to £28,000 | 40 Hours per Week
Our client, a warm and inclusive early years service, is seeking a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their friendly, supportive team. This full-time position offers up to £28,000, with a consistent 40-hour week, set in a well-equipped, home-from-home environment where care, creativity, and child development are at the heart of everything they do.
This is a wonderful opportunity for an early years professional who is passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development in a nurturing, child-centred setting.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality care and early education across the nursery. Working as part of a collaborative team, you’ll help to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children feel confident to explore, learn, and grow.
What We’re Looking For
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent).
- Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
- A clear understanding of the EYFS and child development.
- A warm, caring nature with strong communication and teamworking skills.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive environment for children and families.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to complete one).
- Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain).

Key Responsibilities
- Provide warm, responsive care and learning opportunities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Build trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Observe, assess, and track children’s progress, ensuring each child’s individual needs are met.
- Support daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care, rest periods, and transitions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised learning environment.
- Uphold all safeguarding, health and safety, and equality policies.
