Nursery Practitioner – £26,000 – 40 Hours Over 4 Days
Our client, a welcoming and inclusive nursery setting, is currently seeking a qualified and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join their dedicated team. This is a full-time position offering a salary of £26,000, with 40 hours worked over just 4 days – supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Essential Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a nursery, pre-school, or childcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
- A caring, patient, and proactive attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- First Aid trained (or willingness to complete training).

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:
- Deliver high-quality care and learning opportunities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Support each child’s physical, emotional, and social development.
- Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities to encourage creativity and curiosity.
- Observe, assess, and document children’s progress, sharing updates with families.
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for children and parents alike.
- Ensure children's safety through adherence to safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, well-organised nursery environment.
