We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Deputy Nursery Manager to help lead a welcoming and nurturing early years setting. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as Deputy Nursery Manager:
Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery to ensure a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for all children.
Lead and motivate the staff team, ensuring high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are consistently maintained.
Act as a role model for best practice in early years education and care.
Assist with planning and delivering a creative and age-appropriate curriculum in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Support the management of nursery administration, including staff rotas, record-keeping, and parent communication.
Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
Deputise for the Nursery Manager in their absence.
Contribute to staff training, supervision, and development.
Ideal Deputy Nursery Manager:
Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (or higher).
Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting, ideally with some leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
Excellent communication and organisational skills as a Deputy Nursery Manager.
A warm, caring, and professional approach.
