Summary

Currently Ipswich Fit runs around 170 swimming lessons every week to babies, young people and adults. Our lessons are designed to teach the important skills of swimming, water safety and to keep our students fit.

We deliver different types of lessons such as pre-school, learn to swim, snorkelling, Rookie Lifeguard, and adult lessons across two sites with over 1000 students enrolled on the programme.

We are looking for Level 2 Swimming Instructors who can work in a busy pool environment and teach a variety of swimming lessons, ensure that the correct equipment is available before and after the class, along with helping to establish and maintain a fantastic customer experience. This role will involve working weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

You must have your Level 2 Swimming Instructor qualification and the ability to encourage and motivate groups of children and adults, be organised, communicate well, and be self-motivated. So, if you have a Level 2 teaching qualification needed to teach all ages and abilities how to swim, join us as a swimming instructor and play a key role in the next step of our journey. This is your chance to deliver safe, consistent swimming lessons that give our customers real confidence in the water – and an invaluable life skill.

This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.

As well as a good salary, we offer a career average pension scheme, generous holiday and sick pay entitlements, subsidised parking for work and leisure, public transport discounts, free swimming and gym membership, cycle purchase scheme, plenty of personal and professional development opportunities, flexible working, hybrid working opportunities, Employee Assistance Programme and the opportunity to work with great colleagues.
