DWP. Digital with Purpose.
This is not a traditional project management role. We're looking for skilled agile delivery managers, who have experience of delivering software in an agile environment.
You'll enable a multi-disciplinary team through different phases, as we use fresh ideas and leading-edge tech to build and maintain digital solutions that will be used by nearly every person in the UK.
We have various opportunities available, each joining a supportive community, delivering some of the largest digital transformation in Europe.
Delivering With People.
Our Agile Delivery Managers create psychologically safe spaces, so our high-performing digital teams to create, build, innovate and deliver stuff that works for over 20 million users.
You'll make sure our experts have what they need to deliver the best services. You'll identify blockers, and find the best way round through, and over.
Our focus is on individuals and interactions, values and behaviours - not processes tools or documentations - and we put the user at the centre of everything we do.
One of the great things in DWP is the scale and breadth of activity we're taking on. It is massive. There is a real variety of projects and teams who want your coaching, leadership and empowerment.
Our Agile Delivery practice is thriving with over 200 members.
New joiners, and long time-members of our community love how much support is available, and the degree of collaboration in DWP.
And the opportunities for learning - in whatever form you prefer - are unlimited.
Developing a World-Class Practice.
Our Agile Delivery practice is thriving with over 200 members. We lead a cross-government community which meets once a month to share ideas and discuss emerging trends.
New joiners and long-time members of our community love how much support is available, and the degree of collaboration in DWP.
We want you to be at your best. You'll have open access to experts from across our community and across DWP Digital, for coaching, mentoring, certifications, book budgets and lots more.
What skills, knowledge and experience will you need? How will this be assessed?
Our application process includes both a technical statement and a personal statement. This is your opportunity to showcase clear examples and evidence of how you meet the following:
Technical Statement:
- Describe your experience of delivering software at pace in an agile environment
Personal Statement:
- A good understanding of agile principles and practices.
- Promoting a healthy team culture, managing team dynamics and fostering a continuous improvement environment.
- Translating technical terms and facilitating relationships with business stakeholders.
- Communicating in a straightforward, honest and engaging manner.
The sift panel will use the information you provide to assess your experience, skills and knowledge against the above.
