Summary


Manchester Royal Eye Hospital is a leading Specialist Ophthalmic Hospital and is part of the Manchester University Hospitals NHS foundation Trust .

The Cataract Centre is a satellite Department based at Withington community Hospital .

We are seeking a motivated and committed Housekeeper to join our dedicated MDT .

This is an exciting opportunity and essential and valued role within the team for the successful candidate.

You will be responsible for the day to day maintenance of ensuring that stores are available in the department, report and act on deficiencies , also that equipment are maintained , patient feedback, cleanliness in the department also ensuring that it is safe and comfortable with a positive appearance of the department. You will work closely with the MDT and also assist with quality improvement projects.

Maintaining stock, reporting and acting on deficiencies

Maintenance of equipment also ensuring that annual services are done

Patient feedback via WMTM and FFTS

Take part in IQP projects

Actively take part in staff meetings

Provide patient and service users refreshments

Ensure that the patient area is safe and comfortable
