Summary

Please note that the advertised salary for this position is subject to a pending pay award. The final salary will be adjusted in line with the nationally agreed pay award.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our busy procurement team to support the Purchases to Payments Manager in ensuring the Council has an effective and efficient procurement and payments service.

The successful candidate must show flexibility and commitment in order to meet deadlines and timescales. Reliability and an ability to undertake transactional related tasks with accuracy using electronic systems are essential.

The successful candidate will be expected to conduct duties in Welsh and English. A successful applicant without the required Welsh language skill would be fully supported to reach the required standard within two years of appointment.
