Summary
Our Multi National Engineering client are looking for a skilled Quality Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Requirements:
Ability to read engineering drawings
Visual Inspection
Dimensional work – use of Callipers, gauges, micrometres, and other hand-equipment
Operation and programming of CMM – training for the right candidate
Operation and programming of Planar (camera system for 2D measurement) training for the right candidate
Operation and programming of Keyence IM (non-contact measurement) training for the right candidate
Use of microscope
Ability to write/update Work Instructions, issue Quality Alerts and other documents
Control of non-conforming product, RCA, CAPA, 5Y, 8D
First point of contact for Customer Concerns (with occasional visits, so needs to drive)
SAP system usage is advantageous (or similar MRP)
Internal Auditor qualification/experience
Understanding of ISO9001:2015
Involvement in Continuous Improvement projects
Other tasks relevant to the role
