A Band 6 vacancy for a Junior Charge Nurse / ODP has arisen in 3rd floor Theatres, Hull Royal Infirmary.

We would like to invite applications from practitioners who have at least 2 years Peri-operative experience as a band 5 or above, to work in this busy, exciting and expanding area. Experience in theatres and mentorship qualification are essential.

We are looking for a hardworking and motivated individual to joining the Vascular Team at Hull Royal Infirmary. The successful candidate will act as a role model, demonstrating professionalism and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards in all aspects of their work.

The successful candidate will support the theatre team and foster a psychologically safe space and inclusive environment where all staff feel heard and valued.

The successful applicants must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join a strong proactive management team. The ability to adapt well to change, participate in theatre audits and quality improvement projects is essential.

The service currently covers Monday to Sunday . Staff will be expected to participate in various 24 hour, 7 days a week shifts. A flexible attitude to meet the needs of the service is essential.
