Deputy Home Manager (Residential Care) – £30,500 | 40 Hours per Week | Specialist Autism Support Service
Looking for your next leadership step in social care? A fantastic opportunity has opened for a Deputy Home Manager to join a small, specialist residential care home supporting adults with autism. What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or higher)
- Experience in a leadership and managerial role within a residential care setting (autism experience preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A person-centred approach with a deep understanding of autism and complex needs
- Confident in managing care documentation and supporting regulatory compliance

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the residential care home
- Lead and supervise a team of care staff, promoting a positive, inclusive team culture
- Oversee, review, and update person-centred care plans, ensuring individual needs and goals are met
- Build strong relationships with families, professionals, and external partners
- Maintain a safe, welcoming home environment that promotes independence and dignity
- Support training, development, and performance of team members
- Ensure full compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding policies, and all regulatory requirements
