Summary
SAIS Programme Specific Priorities Lowest uptake schools SAI Uptake Project report content to include:Number of non-consenters who were subsequently vaccinated.Type of engagement/interventions with external partners including schools, local authorities, ICB Place and third sector community groups and evidence of impact of interventions have delivered.Rationale for interventions based on programme data/insight work e.g. specific schools or population group targeted.Evidence of direct contact with key stakeholders at school, community and service user level to reach non responders and how feedback/insight has shaped interventions.Change in percentage uptake by schools.Enabling patient and public involvementTo act as a champion for parents/guardians and young people and their interests and support in decision-making about SAI participation.To ensure all public and patient contact is of the highest professional standard.Engage with community groups to offer vaccination promotion/education and awareness sessions.Promoting equality and reducing inequalitiesTo uphold organisation policies and principles on the promotion of equality.To create an inclusive working environment where diversity is valued, everyone can contribute, and ensure we meet our duty to uphold and promote equality.Implement the recommendations/learning from pilots from the NHS England Public Health team e.g. 2-year programme of work to improve uptake of screening by individuals with a learning disability.Developing an excellent organisationTo ensure health, safety, and wellbeing of all staff within the department.To ensure compliance with all confidentiality and governance requirements within the department. The post holder will undertake any training required as relevant to the post.
