Summary
At Maypole School (Streatham), we have a new position open for an Admin Assistant to join a friendly administrative team, providing an efficient point of contact within our reception.
Job overview
You’ll be responsible for overseeing the reception facility, answering calls and dealing with face-to-face enquiries, signing in visitors and ensuring all visitors are appropriately monitored, as well as providing general clerical and administrative support and maintaining school records.Key Responsibilities Undertake all duties and responsibilities in accordance with: company policies, procedures, protocols, guidelines, standards; good professional practice, Ofsted and other regulatory requirements, relevant legislations, all legal and contractual obligations.To review and amend pupil documents and other related paperwork as directed by the Assistant HeadteacherTo provide effective organisation skills to support the management teamTo assist in the day-to-day admin support of running of the school such as; answering/ responding to emails, welcoming visitors, arranging transportation for PE activities, coordinating PE activitiesComplete purchase requests and ordersPetty Cash management
Job requirements
Ability to prioritise tasks on a day-to-day basis
Experience of using information management systems and strong IT skills
A high level of verbal and written communication standards
Proven ability to show reliability and to work to meet key deadlines
