Assistant Coach - (Athletics, Basketball, Badminton, Gymnastics, Netball & Tennis)

We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated assistant coaches, who will help to deliver fun, engaging and skills based coaching sessions, to the young people involved in our Sports Development programme.

As an assistant coach, your role is all about supporting the head coach with the delivery of creative, fun and structured coaching sessions. The post requires self-motivation, flexibility and good communication skills. We are looking for people who are passionate about sport and can inspire and motivate the young people in our programme to develop their sporting skills and promote the benefits of an active healthy lifestyle through sport.

Coaching sessions will be delivered at various venues across Falkirk. As coaching is not a 9-5 business, we require individuals that will be able to deliver sessions at various times including daytime, evenings, and weekends. This will involve our sport development coaching programme, Active Schools programme (primary and secondary), school holiday sports camps and event programme.

We are looking for candidates who hold up to date or are currently working towards achieving National Governing body qualifications in the next 3 months or have relevant coaching experience working with groups of young people.

You will work on an as and when required basis.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
