Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join our vibrant educational team on a fixed-term basis until 31st December, with the potential for a permanent position. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching languages and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in one or more modern foreign languages (e.g., French, Spanish, German).
- Develop and implement a curriculum that meets educational standards and caters to the diverse needs of students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
-Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and projects.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their academic goals.
- Stay current with advancements in language education and integrate new technologies and methodologies into the classroom.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Modern Foreign Languages, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or licensure in the relevant subject area.
- Proven experience in teaching modern foreign languages at the middle or high school level.
- Strong knowledge of language pedagogy and the ability to convey complex information in an accessible manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to explore and appreciate different cultures and languages.
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and development.
