Summary


We are a busy Cross Sectional Imaging department and are looking for a dedicated Radiographic Department Assistant (RDA) team. We have state of the art equipment and cover a wide selection of specialties. We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic individual who puts high quality patient care first. We work 12hr days 7 days a week on the Aintree site , we will look for flexibility to be able to work the different shift patterns occasionally across both sites incorporated in LUHFT.

We require previous healthcare experience in a hospital setting. You must demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to provide evidence of high quality patient care. Duties include all aspects of patient care associated with the CT and MR scanning service, cannulation, phlebotomy skills and some administrative duties. Must be able to work work well as part of a multidisciplinary team and also independently. You will need to be computer literate.

department assisting the Radiographers and Radiologists in providing care for patients.

To cannulate patients and take part in other preparatory procedures to
prepare patients for their CT & MR scans.

To participate in the shift system in providing CT & MR scanning services.

To effectively contribute towards the delivery of a high quality and safe
patient focused service.
