Crynodeb

Being a support worker is a role where you can make every day matter. It's a job with challenges that make your heart beat faster, where you can give something of yourself and empower amazing people on their journey.

We are Key, an organisations that support disabled people of all ages to make everyday matter.

We are currently recruiting within our Dumbarton Service to support to a woman “Pam” who lives in her own home in Dumbarton.

We support Pam 24 hours a day with all aspects of her life including personal care, taking care of her home and finances as well as developing and maintaining full and active participation in the community. Pam enjoys arts and crafts, bingo, and music. She also enjoys going to the hairdressers and getting her nails done. Pam requires support as she has a learning disability and uses a wheelchair.

Pam has her own car to support her to lead a full and active life in the community, so drivers are particularly welcome to apply.

We have a 32 hour post available and applicants should be able to work flexibly as part of the team to meet the needs of Pam with shifts including evenings, weekends and sleepovers.

If you would like to arrange an informal chat to find out more do not hesitate to get in touch. Please contact Kim at our Dumbarton Office on 01389 734 651 or at kim.bain@key.org.uk

*Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010 applies in relation to the occupational requirement for this post.
