Description
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Housing Repairs Co-ordinators (Sc5) to join our team. As a Housing Repairs Co-ordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management and coordination of housing repairs within our community. You will be responsible for liaising with tenants, contractors, and maintenance teams to ensure timely and efficient repairs are executed. This role involves assessing repair requests, creating work orders, and monitoring the progress of repairs to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and efficiency. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of repairs and communicating updates to tenants, ensuring they are kept informed throughout the repair process. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities
Coordinate repair requests and maintain an efficient workflow for housing repairs
Liaise effectively with tenants to address their concerns and update them on repair progress
Create and manage work orders for maintenance tasks and ensure timely completion by contractors
Monitor the quality of repair work undertaken and ensure compliance with relevant standards
Maintain accurate records of repairs and service reports for auditing purposes
Work collaboratively with contractors, maintenance teams, and other stakeholders to resolve issues
Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to housing repairs and maintenance management
Requirements
Proven experience in housing repairs coordination or a related field
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in using computer systems and software related to housing management
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in housing repairs
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A professional attitude and a commitment to excellent customer service
