Summary
Wondering if there were still any small, independent Ofsted Outstanding nurseries, with a consistent staff team, where the child really is at the centre? That's Puss In Boots, named one of UK's best nurseries, and we are looking for a wonderful person to work with our team. This is a part time, term-time only position. Any applicant should have an understanding of how children learn through play and be able to respond sensitively, fostering children’s learning and development. Your role would be to work with a mixed age group of children, between 2 and 4 years of age, during our afternoon sessions.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE An NVQ 2 or 3 is desirable but not essential. Enthusiasm and a desire to learn are essential.
We are located in Hampstead, NW3, 5 minutes walk from the Royal Free Hospital, Gospel Oak and Hampstead Heath Overground.
The candidate must be available to work 4 afternoons a week Monday-Thursday and arrive by 1pm - finish time flexible, between 4pm or 5pm. Additional, optional cover hours will almost certainly be available.
Start date flexible - ideally beginning of September
The initial contract would be for a full school year and includes a year's holiday pay. There is potential to renew the contract after 1 year.
