Summary

Nursery Practitioner | Up to £14 per hour | Full-Time or Part-Time | Level 3 in Early Years

Our client, a nurturing and inclusive early years setting, is looking for a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join their friendly team. With big, airy rooms that open directly onto a large, spacious garden, the environment is perfectly designed to encourage curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning in every child.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and confident Level 3-qualified practitioner who is looking for a fulfilling role in a supportive and well-resourced nursery. Full-time hours available, with part-time (25 hours per week) considered.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll play a key part in delivering high-quality care and education for the children in your room. You'll work alongside a close-knit team to create a warm, stimulating environment that supports each child's development and wellbeing.

What We're Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent) – essential
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
  • A warm, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to working with children
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Promote a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for all children
  • Carry out observations and assessments to support children’s individual learning journeys
  • Encourage independence, creativity, and exploration through indoor and outdoor play
  • Work collaboratively with your room team and the wider nursery
