Summary
We are currently recruiting for HGV1 Drivers for many of our clients based in Ashford, Charing, Hythe , Canterbury and Dover.
The work we have available is deliveries of various different goods such as pallets, meat seasonings, household items, Beer kegs and crates, . Both full time and part time work available.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections using the companys systems Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies. Communicate effectively with the logistics team and customers to provide excellent service Pay Rates - £15 - £17ph
Requirements: Valid HGV2 (Cat C) driving license. Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC). Digital Tachograph Card. Previous experience in driving HGV2 vehicles Strong understanding of road safety regulations and defensive driving techniques. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Ability to handle physical work, some clients may require handballing - using a pallet truck Benefits: Weekly Pay Online pay slips Pension Scheme Weekend over time available
