Summary
Job purpose:
To assist the Branch Manager (or designate) to achieve safe and efficient
parts Delivery and collection whilst ensuring excellent customer service and to
carry out specified tasks as reasonably required
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
1. To assist the Branch manager by carrying out efficient, accurate parts
deliveries and collections along with excellent customer service to all
customers
2. To ensure all company stock is correctly and safely stored and
transported within health and safety requirements
3. To ensure all paperwork pertaining to company procedures are
correctly completed and filed in a professional manner within
guidelines
4. To ensure all monies and other forms of payment are safely stored and
transferred to branch staff in line with company procedures and all
anomalies reported to the Branch Manager
5. To ensure all returns from customers are fully checked and returned to
returns shelf in an efficient manner along with all required paperwork
in line with company policy
6. To assist the Branch manager to collect aged debt where possible and
contribute to the process where required
7. To ensure company and local promotions are actively communicated to
all customers as required.
8. To assist the Branch manager by maintaining a clean and tidy
appearance and a professional image for customers.
9. To assist the Branch manager to manage the upkeep, cleanliness and
condition of all company vehicles used
10. To assist the Branch manager to manage costs and overheads, and all
factors affecting the profitable performance of the business.
11. To assist the Branch manager to manage and reduce as necessary all
slow moving and redundant stock.
12. To assist the Branch manager to comply with health and safety
systems, according to company policy and relevant law.
