Summary

Nursery Manager | Up to £37,000 | Full-Time (40 hrs)



Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead a welcoming and nurturing early years setting with a wonderful outdoor learning space.



This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager who values child-led learning, prioritises staff wellbeing, and is ready to take the next step in a supportive and progressive environment.

You'll be responsible for the daily running of the nursery, providing strong and empathetic leadership to a dedicated team, and building positive relationships with families and the wider community.



What We’re Looking For



  • Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years (essential)

  • Proven experience as a Nursery Manager with a strong track record

  • Confident in leading inspections and meeting statutory requirements

  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding best practices

  • Skilled in motivating teams and managing day-to-day operations

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • A warm, approachable, and inclusive leadership style

Key Responsibilities



  • Lead and inspire the nursery team to deliver outstanding care and early education

  • Ensure compliance with all safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted requirements

  • Oversee curriculum planning and assessment to support each child’s development

  • Foster a culture of kindness, respect, and continuous improvement

  • Manage nursery budgets, staffing, and occupancy targets effectively

  • Build trusted relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies

  • Support staff development through regular training, appraisals, and mentoring
