Our client is based in Surbiton and provides Private Taxi Hire and Courier Services across Surrey, South-West London, and the surrounding areas, for both businesses and the local communities.

They are seeking acommittedBusiness Development Managerto generate new B2B enquiries and sell their services, as well as look after existing clients in Surrey, South-West London, and the surrounding areas.

This is animportant role,and you will be part of a growing, successful team who arefocused on getting the business to the next level.

Hours & Salary:

- Full Time, Permanent, Office-Based

- 45 hours per week

- £30K - £40K subject to experience + Uncapped commission structure

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Seek new business in and around Surrey/West/South-West/South-East London.

- Retain and develop current business.

- Create leads and prospects.

- Network and target potential prospects through cold calling and telesales campaigns.

Results Expected:

- New business - Achieve monthly/yearly targets.

- Face-to-face meetings with Prospects/Existing customers - Achieve monthly/yearly targets.

- Tele-sales campaigns and cold/warm leads - Achieve monthly/yearly targets.

- New/Regained accounts - Achieve monthly/yearly targets.

- Increase major prospects pipeline - Achieve monthly/yearly targets.

- IT literate

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Proven track record of face-to-face sales within the courier industry.

- Problem solver and think on your feet.

- Sales ability.

- The ability to undertake meetings up to boardroom level.

Experience Needed:

- Sales

- Marketing

- Account management

- 3 years relevant experience in field sales is an advantage

Other Special Requirements:

- Full UK driving licence
