Job overviewWe want to appoint a dynamic, outstanding teacher to become our Lead Practitioner for English across the Trust. To develop a curriculum that enables all students, no matter what phase, key stage or school, to achieve the best possible outcomes in English. To develop a lifelong love of learning reading within our young people and lead, or support, with Literacy activities across the Trust.
The right candidate will have:
Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualificationEvidence of successful and varied experience, ideally in secondary schools.
Recent experience of a leadership responsibility within an English department and ideally experience of whole school leadershipProven track record of raising educational standards and improving teaching at a departmental level.Evidence of involvement in the development of the English curriculum
