Are you a passionate and experienced SEND teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a supportive and inclusive primary school environment?
A welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Islington is seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to lead their brand-new ARP (Additional Resource Provision) classrooms. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with high needs, particularly those with ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition).
The Role:
- Lead and coordinate teaching across two ARP classrooms, supporting 12 pupils with high needs.
- Work alongside a team of experienced and skilled teaching assistants to deliver high-quality, tailored learning experiences.
- Collaborate closely with the school's SENCO and Inclusion HLTA to plan, resource, and review learning, ensuring each child makes progress towards their individual targets.
- Create a nurturing and structured environment where children can learn, play, and thrive safely and happily.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A qualified teacher on the M3-M4 pay scale, with a strong interest or background in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Experience working with children with ASC or similar high-needs profiles.
- A collaborative and reflective practitioner who values teamwork and inclusive practice.
- Committed to providing a positive, child-centred learning experience.
