We are hiring exceptional Residential Support Workers to care for children and young people in residential settings across Northern Ireland. About the role:
You will support children within a residential care environment. Your role will include building trusting relationships, promoting routines and life skills, supporting with emotional regulation and managing behaviours with consistency and care.
This role will be subject to an enhanced AccessNI check, however, applicants should note that a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.What we’re looking for:
• At least 6 months of full-time care experience in the past 3 years, including 3 months with children or young people
• A Level 3 qualification in children’s services (or willingness to work towards one)
• The right to work in the UK
• Registration – You’ll need NISCC registration in a social care role
• A commitment to delivering care that is respectful, empathetic and team-focused
