Summary
Key areas of responsibilities Provide High Quality Care to Patients presenting as an Emergency Research, Teaching and Training Performance Management Medical Staff Management Governance Strategy and Business Planning Leadership and Team Working Administrative duties The post holder will work closely with the team in the ED and will liaise closely with other members of the Urgent & Emergency Medicine Directorate to ensure delivery of high quality emergency medicine services within the strategic framework agreed by the team. They will work closely with the Clinical Director and specialty heads for emergency medicine. The successful applicant will be expected to actively engage in a programme of professional development. Within the department there are weekly educational sessions in which the post holder will participate. Opportunities also exist within the wider Trust and Imperial College. There is also an expectation that the post holder makes use of resources outside the Trust and maintains a CPD log with the College of Emergency Medicine.
