The role:
We are looking for a candidate based in Exeter who is willing to travel to Plymouth a couple of times a week. The team are based in Exeter and the patch would be in Plymouth.
You'll be accountable for delivering a professional and high-quality mixed tenure service to customers across your locality.
You'll use your knowledge and skills to resolve a range of housing management challenges including Anti-Social Behaviour, housing and neighbourhood issues, contractual related breaches and changes, fraud and safeguarding.
You'll be an integral part of ensuring neighbourhoods are safe, whilst listening to customers’ needs.
Key responsibilities:
Effectively and proactively managing a complex caseload whilst seeking creative solutions to achieve positive outcomes
Contributing to shaping sustainable communities and developing an environment that is safe and inclusive for our customers
Fulfilling our landlord responsibilities, including adherence to our policies and procedures, as well as all regulatory and legislative requirements
Taking a pro-active approach to health & safety and compliance
Providing an excellent customer experience which contributes to us achieving 90% customer satisfaction
Working in collaboration with colleagues from across the locality to conduct a programme of routine checks and deliver improvements to our homes and places
Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and partner agencies
What the client is looking for:
Proven track record of delivering responsive, tenure-blind landlord services through local teams to sustain tenancies and maintain our homes and places
Strong, practical knowledge of tenancy, leasehold, and neighbourhood management to drive positive outcomes for customers
Skilled communicator who builds trust, earns respect, and confidently influences and challenges where needed
Experience working collaboratively across teams and agencies to meet complex customer needs
Brings operational focus and values-driven behaviour to deliver on the corporate plan and locality-based strategies for customers, homes, and places
Track record of proposing and helping implement innovative solutions, using upcoming policy changes to shape a flexible, responsive service
Ability to receive honest communication and develop inclusive relationships whilst remaining self-motivated and accountable for your work
Confident in accurate data handling and record-keeping
Sound understanding of data breaches, their implications, and how to prevent or triage them in line with industry standards
Demonstrated excellence in customer service within complex service delivery environments
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficient in using a range of digital tools and platforms
Ideally holds membership of a relevant professional body, such as CIH or equivalent
