Summary

VAF116: PART-TIME RECEPTIONIST (MAYFLOWER CAMPUS)
Based at: Mayflower Campus (Boston)

Available shift patterns include:
• Morning Shift (8:30 am – 1:00 pm, Monday to Friday) (£14,484 - £14,694 per annum)
• Afternoon Shift (12:30 pm – 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday) (£16,093 - £16,327 per annum)

All above roles are 52 weeks per year contracts. Salaries are pro rata to £23,819 - £24,165 per annum.

We are looking for several Receptionists to join our welcoming front-of-house team at the Mayflower Campus. These roles are vital to ensuring a positive experience for all visitors, learners, and members of the public. You will be the first point of contact for our café, general reception, and occasionally our on-site Style Hair and Beauty Salon, taking bookings, messages, and providing helpful information.

Your main duties will include:

• Providing a warm and professional reception for all campus visitors
• Handling incoming calls, emails, and face-to-face enquiries
• Supporting bookings and messages for the on-site salon
• Managing post, ID cards, and general administrative tasks
• Processing payments, maintaining records, and assisting with conference and room bookings
• Supporting enrolment and college events, which may include occasional evenings or weekends

You’ll need to be confident using IT systems, calm under pressure, and able to juggle multiple priorities with a smile.
