This is a fantastic opportunity to use your culinary skills in a meaningful way — supporting residents' health, dignity, and enjoyment through carefully prepared food.
Working in a specialist healthcare setting, the Sous Chef will support the Head Chef in delivering high-quality meals tailored to individual dietary needs, including modified textures and specialist diets. If you’re experienced in catering within a care home, hospital, or similar environment and enjoy working in a warm, respectful kitchen culture, this could be the role for you.

- Strong understanding of food hygiene regulations and dietary requirements in older adult care
- Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene qualification (or equivalent)

- Ensure high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in line with regulatory guidelines
- Supervise and support kitchen staff, helping to maintain a positive team environment
- Work closely with care teams to adapt menus to residents’ changing needs
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation
