Summary
Join Our Team as a Full-Time Support Worker in Marlborough (SN8)
Location: Marlborough, SN8 (Just a 7min Drive From Savernake Hospital)
Pay Rate: £12.83 per hour (£50 Per Sleep-In Shift)
Hours: Part-Time / Full-Time (30 - 37.5 hours per week)
Shifts:
- Day Shifts: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM / 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Long Day with Sleep-In: 9:00 AM - 9:00 AM (next day)
- Sleep-In: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM (paid to sleep)
Driver Requirement: Full UK Manual Driving Licence (Essential)

Who Will You Be Supporting?
You'll be supporting four fantastic gentlemen, aged between their 20s and 50s. Three have Down syndrome and one has a mild learning disability. Each person has their own unique personality, interests, and goals—and they're looking for someone who can match their energy and zest for life.
They enjoy:
- Going to the gym and staying active
- Attending church and being part of the community
- Working at the local garden centre
- Taking holidays around the UK
- Socialising, laughing, and getting involved in a wide range of activities
This is a lively, sociable home with lots of family involvement and a strong sense of community.
What Will You Be Doing?
As a Support Worker, you'll be:
- Promoting Independence: Encouraging people to be involved in their daily routines and decisions
- Daily Living Support: Assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and medication
- Engaging in Activities: Supporting with hobbies, outings, and holidays
- Being a Positive Presence: Bringing patience, positivity, and creativity to every shift
- Supporting Communication: Understanding behaviours of distress and responding with empathy (training provided)
