We're seeking a Projects Engineer to support, maintain, and improve production and site services in line with business requirements. You will design, plan, facilitate, and manage site projects from initial planning to successful completion. This role involves creating and managing a virtual library of site layout drawings and supervising project teams and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:

Create a virtual library and index to manage site layout drawings for services and equipment.

Design, plan, facilitate, and manage site projects to successful completion.

Design and manipulate factory layouts to facilitate new projects and improve production capacities.

Own and be the point of contact for accessing and updating site and factory drawings.

Supervise and manage project teams and contractors.

Investigate and develop production lines for future improvements to safety, efficiencies, and increased outputs.

Provide technical support to Engineers, Facilities, Production teams etc.
Requirements:
-
Apprentice trained in Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering.

NVQ level 3 Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.

Experience in ability to read and develop P&ID & Engineering drawings.

Must be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office and Excel.

Proficient in Autocad.
-
Proven experience in a production engineering environment.

Attention to detail for factory layouts considering future expansion and developments.

Practical with ability to work on own initiative or within a group with a can-do attitude.
Preferred Skills:

Microsoft Project.

Autocad 3d & Solid works.

Fabrication, Welding, Milling & turning.

Food Production Engineering background.

Fork lift / scissor lift licence.
