Summary
The successful candidate will have experience of working in acute or community mental health and be able to contribute to the assessment, implementation and delivery of high-quality therapeutic mental health patient care within the Home Treatment Team. This will include delivering mental health care in line with coproduced care plans under indirect supervision of qualified members of staff. You will be required to work independently with patients, for which you will receive regular supervision. The successful candidate will also be supported in their professional development.
If you don't already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH are offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification [relevant to your role].
As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive.
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. This leads to a nationally recognised qualification.

There is a requirement to work a shift pattern that provides a service 7 days a week 365 days of the year.

The post holder will work within an integrated mental health team to carry out assigned care delivery to improve patients mental wellbeing and promote recovery.
The post holder will work with carers and relatives ensuring they are supported and offered carers assessments. To support carer’s views and observations to be included in the mental health assessment and treatment of their loved ones.
The post holder will support physical health care for clients on the caseload and will engage in the completion of checks and report findings to wider team for action where required.
The post holder will support individuals to engage with voluntary and peer support services promoting community support and reduction in isolation.
