The post holder is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based patient care. Clinical expertise is utilised during all phases of the peri-operative period. Skilled assistance is provided in the surgical care of the patient.These skills can also be employed in other areas of Theatre, such as Anaesthetics with the recognised qualification and in recovery and in other satellite areas such as X-Ray and covering lists over in YG as required .
