We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant special school in Gainsborough, supporting pupils with complex medical and learning needs from September.
The school offers a personalised curriculum and provides outstanding support for pupils with a range of learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and health care needs. The staff team is skilled, supportive, and committed to helping students develop communication, independence, and confidence in a highly structured and therapeutic environment.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Experience working within a SEND or complex needs environment (essential)
- Strong communication skills and a person-centred approach
- Relevant training such as Team Teach, PRICE, Moving and Handling, or Personal Care (highly desirable)
- A positive and empathetic mindset, with the ability to build trust and consistency
