Summary


We are looking to recruit to a locum Consultant Neurologist post based at the Lister Hospital in
Stevenage which comprises 8 programmed activities (PAs). The post is for 6 months of maternity
leave cover. There is no on-call commitment.
Demand for neurology services is consistently high so the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust
is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic consultant neurologist to join our existing
neurology team as soon as possible. The successful applicant will work closely with the existing
neurology team to provide a high standard neurology service to the Trust.

• Maintenance of high-quality patient centered care
• Shared responsibility for the day-to-day management of the
service and participation in strategic planning
• Teaching and training within the multidisciplinary service
• Active involvement in multidisciplinary team meetings and
directorate clinical governance activity
• Active participation in continuing medical education
