Summary
Key Responsibilities Accurately code clinical data from consultations, hospital letters, and other documentation. Summarise patient records and ensure relevant information is coded appropriately. Support the practice in achieving QOF and Enhanced Services targets. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection and information governance policies. Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure data quality and consistency. Work collaboratively with clinical, administrative, and management colleagues to support a cohesive and efficient team environment, contributing to shared goals and continuous improvement. Train and support staff in the effective use of Anima, ensuring confidence and consistency in its application across the practice. Duties may be varied from time to time under the direction of the Practice Managers, dependent on current and evolving Practice workload and staffing levels. Confidentiality The post-holder will handle sensitive and confidential information relating to patients, carers, staff, and the business of the practice. All such information must be treated with the utmost confidentiality and only shared with authorised individuals in accordance with practice policies and data protection regulations.
