About Us

Link3 Recruitment is a specialist education recruitment agency, supporting the staffing needs of schools & education-based provisions across the UK. We are currently seeking committed & compassionate SEN Support Workers to join a residential care setting located on a school site, supporting children & young people aged 6 to 19 years old with a wide range of Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The Role

This is a full-time role, working 5 days per week & including every other weekend. You will provide direct support to children & young people with diverse needs such as learning difficulties, physical disabilities, & behavioural challenges. The position is based in a residential home linked to a school site, ensuring consistency between care & education.

Applicants must have relevant care experience or qualifications, a full UK driving licence, & access to their own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily care & personal support in line with individual care plans


  • Support with personal care, mealtimes, mobility, & emotional regulation


  • Create a safe, nurturing, & structured environment


  • Collaborate with education & therapeutic staff across the school site


  • Record & report behaviours, routines, & developmental progress


  • Accompany children to off-site activities & appointments as needed


    Minimum Requirements

    To be considered, candidates must meet the following:

    • Experience/Qualifications: Prior care experience (professional or personal) or relevant care/support qualifications (e.g. Health & Social Care, CACHE, NVQ)


    • Driving: Must hold a full UK driving licence & have access to own transport


    • Availability: Must be available full-time, 5 days per week, including every other weekend


    • Skills:

      • Empathetic, reliable, & flexible in approach


      • Strong communication & teamwork skills


      • Confident in managing complex behaviours & SEN needs



      • Training:

        • Full induction & training provided


        • NAPPI training is beneficial but not essential



          DBS Check

          All applicants must have or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check (Adult & Child Workforce). If not already on the update service, a new DBS will be required (cost may apply).
