Your New Role

We are seeking an innovative AI Software Engineer who thrives at the intersection of marketing strategy, AI, and software development. This role is 80% hands-on coding, so deep experience with AI-assisted development environments-such as Cursor, VS Code Studio, or similar tools-is essential. You'll be expected to fully embrace and leverage tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate the creation of cutting-edge marketing technology.
You'll play a key role in architecting, designing, and building AI-driven microservices and applications that power our next-generation B2B marketing platform,
Cylvy. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of marketing by rapidly translating strategic requirements into intelligent, scalable solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Vibe Coding & AI Tooling: Spend the majority of your time building and iterating using AI-first coding environments (Cursor, VS Code Studio, Copilot, etc.).
  • Solution Architecture: Design scalable, modular architectures for AI-driven marketing applications and microservices.
  • Requirements Engineering: Translate business and marketing needs into detailed technical specifications.
  • AI-Assisted Development: Rapidly prototype and develop applications using AI coding tools.
  • Integration Framework: Implement and optimise Model Context Protocol for seamless AI microservice integration.
  • DevOps Implementation: Manage deployment pipelines using Docker, Git, CI/CD, and cloud services.
  • MarTech Innovation: Research and implement AI solutions for marketing use cases like content generation, analytics, and personalisation.
  • Data Pipeline Architecture: Design robust data flows between marketing systems and AI services.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and best practices for AI implementation.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation for systems and solutions.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay ahead of evolving AI technologies and frameworks.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years in solution architecture or software engineering, with strong proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Go).
  • Proven experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer) and integrating large language models (LLMs) and AI APIs.
  • Deep understanding of microservices architecture, Model Context Protocol, API design, and cloud platforms (GCP, Azure).
  • Skilled in containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), version control (Git, BitBucket), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong foundation in software design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, vector databases).


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in MarTech, AdTech, or B2B marketing technology, with a background in marketing data and analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM optimisation, and designing data processing pipelines (ETL).
  • Agile development experience (Scrum, Kanban) and a track record of integrating AI into business applications.
