At Eteach, we’re more than just a job board – we’re a people-powered education recruitment partner, trusted by over 7,500 schools and colleges worldwide. We're now looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Consultant to help us grow deeper, smarter, and faster in the education sector.
This isn’t your average sales role. You won’t just be hitting KPIs from behind a desk — you’ll be out there building real relationships with Headteachers, MAT leaders, HR Directors, and decision-makers across education. If you know how to speak their language, understand the challenges schools face when it comes to talent, and can offer genuinely impactful solutions, we want to talk to you. What You’ll Be Doing:Own the full top-of-funnel process: qualify inbound leads and execute targeted outbound outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn, and campaigns
Identify and engage senior decision-makers across MATs, LAs and international schools
Accurately log and forecast opportunity value and conversion potential within CRM
Maintain clear and up-to-date records of all lead activity, conversion rates, and opportunity status
Work closely with the Partnership and Key Account Sales Director to forecast future pipeline volume and velocity
Attend and support education sector events, exhibitions, and roundtables to generate new business leads
Engage with attendees, qualify interest, and follow up to convert event contacts into pipeline
Provide insights from events to inform sales and marketing strategy
Collaborate with marketing to support campaigns, webinars, and product launches through coordinated outreach Share customer insights, objections, and trends to improve messaging and outreach strategiesDeliver regular reporting on lead performance, meeting quality, and forecasting accuracy
Provide occasional support to junior team members when required, helping to uphold best practices and team standards
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the education sector (schools, MATs, colleges, and education groups)
Pitch and promote the Eteach platform, our recruitment software, advertising packages, and talent attraction services
Build long-term partnerships through consultative selling — this is about adding value, not just hitting a targetAttend relevant networking events, conferences, and school visits — in-person connection still matters
Track pipeline activity, forecast sales, and report on key trends and insights back to leadershipEssential Requirements3+ years in a B2C /B2B sales development, business development, or inside sales role
Experience managing both outbound outreach and inbound lead conversionYou know how schools and MATs operate — ideally, you've worked in education recruitment or sold into this market beforeStrong forecasting ability and commercial awareness of pipeline dynamics
Proven success in booking high-quality meetings with senior decision-makers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with CRM and sales tools
Highly organised, self-motivated, and results-orientedWhat’s In It For YouCompetitive base salary + uncapped commission from day 1
Hybrid working

Be part of a fast-moving, mission-driven team reshaping how education finds talent
Ongoing support and professional development — we’ll back you, not box youWhy join usAt Eteach, we believe every child deserves the best teachers — and every school deserves the tools to find and retain them. If you’re passionate about education and ready to drive growth in a high-impact role, we’d love to hear from you.
