Summary

We're looking for a Senior Planner to join our MEP business, Kier Mechanical & Electrical.

Kier Mechanical & Electrical work in partnership with the Regional Construction business to deliver full design, construct and commissioning of MEP systems.



Location: London.

Hours: Full time, Permanent with flexible working options.

This role will be working across a range of projects and so will require some travel to visit your designated sites.





What should you expect to be doing?

As a Senior Planner within our MEP business, key accountabilities include:

-Programme Development & Maintenance - Create and manage a projects MEP programmes using Elecosoft PowerProject and/or Primavera P6, ensuring compliance with Kier's Planning Standards and contract requirements.

-Progress Monitoring & Reporting - Track project progress through site visits, maintain accurate records, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

-Risk & Delay Management - Identify potential risks and delays, collaborating with the project team to develop mitigation strategies.

-Programme & Supply Chain Reviews - Analyse subcontractor programmes, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and taking corrective actions as needed.

-Collaboration & Lessons Learned - Lead coordination meetings, communicate key insights, and share lessons learned to improve project planning and execution



What are we looking for?

In a Senior Planner we require:

-Advanced knowledge and experience on Elecosoft/Asta Power Project software.

-Ability to create and deliver a fully logic linked MEP services programme from Pre-Construction through to handover.

-Experience using Bluebeam software.

-Exposure to NEC and JCT forms of contract.

-Experience in working working for either a Planning Consultancy or Contractor as an MEP Planner.

-Eligibility for Security Clearance.
