Lunchtime Play Leader - part time / term timePLAY LEAD GLPC-B - £12.26 per hour (pro-rata salary is £5499 per annum)Walter Halls Primary School are looking for a lunch time play leader to join their friendly team of staffWe are an OPAL school and encourage free outdoor play within our amazing grounds. We want someone with a big smile and a genuine desire to make lunchtimes happy and fun! We will offer you support and guidance in the role.
Main Responsibilities:
Lunch time play lead will be focussed around encouraging and supervision of play, organisation and safeguarding of children within the playground environment.
The successful candidate will;
Oversee/supervise/encourage children on the playground. Identifying any issues that develop and deal with them promptly and fairly, following the OPAL Play ethos.
Safeguard the children. Ensuring that the free play and games the children are participating in are safe, both for them and the other children on the playground.
Help to assist the children with organising themselves when on the playground so as to develop their social and emotional skills.
This is a term time only position, working from 11.15am to 1.15pm, Monday to Friday.
