We are recruiting a Senior Regional Improvement Manager to join our East of England Regional Learning & Improvement Networks team. In this leadership role, you will play a key part in supporting the regional improvement & learning networks that foster knowledge sharing and help drive improvements across Elective, UEC and Mental Health Care Services.

You will work directly with the Deputy Director and provide strategic programme management and expert improvement leadership to ensure the successful delivery of the Networks’ objectives and outcomes. You will have substantial experience of planning, implementing, & evaluating improvement programmes, supported by a project management and improvement qualification or equivalent experience. An understanding of current healthcare policies and excellent stakeholder engagement experience is essential. You will have highly developed communication skills, with the ability to analyse & interpret complex, sensitive, or contentious information across a wide range of topics related to the role. Your capability to present complex concepts clearly & to navigate difficult or controversial issues will be critical when engaging diverse audiences.

You will be expected to work on-site at least two days per week and be available to start within four weeks of receiving a conditional offer, if selected. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of the aims and objectives of the Learning & Improvement Networks, managing and communicating with a diverse range of national, regional, and provider stakeholders. You will have a comprehensive knowledge of improvement initiatives focused on enhancing patient flow in these areas, alongside significant experience using improvement methodologies such as identifying key questions, developing theories of change, and applying PDSA cycles. Proficiency in data-driven improvement techniques, particularly the use of Statistical Process Control Charts to monitor progress, is required. You will plan and deliver a comprehensive programme of activities, including up to six face-to-face workshops and six virtual events annually, ensuring on-the-day presence to support event management.
