We’re looking for a Maintenance Operator to join our growing team supporting railway stations and surrounding leased areas. This is a varied and rewarding role for someone with strong practical skills, a proactive attitude, and a reliable work ethic.

The Role
You’ll work across multiple stations and associated facilities delivering essential maintenance and repair tasks including (but not limited to):
General handyman duties
Basic plumbing and joinery
Painting and decorating
Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM)
Vegetation removal and site upkeep
This role includes participation in an on-call rota (currently 1 week in every 6), covering out-of-hours emergencies — paid at an enhanced rate in addition to your base salary.
About You
Practical experience in a similar multi-skilled or handyman role
Confidence using both hand and power tools
Able to work independently or as part of a team
Strong problem-solving and time management skills
Comfortable working in a safety-critical environment
PASMA & IPAF certifications desirable but not essential
Clean driving licence required
