Summary
The Senior Operations Officer will assist senior managers within the Transport Commissioning Team to deliver in-house fleet transport to ensure effective, efficient, and safe delivery of front-line services for eligible residents of Cheshire West & Chester in accordance with Council policies, procedures and resources.
This will include the management of Fleet Operations Officers, and a team of drivers / passenger assistants and school crossing patrol staff to successfully deliver a range of transport related services to the required legislative / regulatory standards.
This role will be required to work from Meridian House, Winsford and Rossfield Depot Ellesmere Port regularly. This role will also be required to cover on a rota the teams duty officer role.
